Maj. Gen. Fay B. Prickett
August 1943 - January 1945. Gen. Prickett later commanded the 10th Armored Division and the 4th Armored Division.
Maj. Gen. Ray E. Porter
January 1945 - June 1945. Prior to commanding the 75th, Gen. Porter also briefly commanded the Fifteenth Army. After WWII, Gen. Porter would later command the 101st Airborne Division.
Maj. Gen. Arthur A. White
June 1945 - October 1945. After commanding the 75th, Gen. White commanded the 71st Infantry Division. Gen. White would also later command the 9th Infantry Division.
Brig. Gen. Charles R. Doran
October 1945 - Inactivation.
