WWII Photo Feature 43: Dodge WC 3/4-Ton Truck of the 102nd Infantry Division
This section features documents and photographs from our personal collection of WWII historical material. As time permits, new feature pages will be added with additional photographs and documents.

Two unpublished amateur photographs show a 3/4-ton Dodge WC 4x4 Truck (G502) from the Medical Detachment of the 406th Infantry Regiment, 102nd Infantry Division.

The original photographs are both labelled as "Jimmie Canham and myself, Basweiler, Germany".

Ambulance versions of the Dodge 3/4-ton were produced, but this vehicle appears to be the more common WC-51 Weapons Carrier model of which over 120,000 were produced.

Note the snow chains and numerous red cross markings and flags. A captured German helmet has been perched atop the wire cutter on the front of the Dodge.
